Elizabeth Ann Mall, 59, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully at her home on June
12, 2002 after a year long battle with cancer. A memorial Mass will be Saturday at Holy Name Catholic Church with Monsignor Eugene Sullivan officiating. Beth was born Oct. 13, 1942, to John and Mary Galeand raised in Sheridan. She married Kenneth George Mall on August 21, 1965 after meeting Ken in college at Creighton University.

Beth and Ken moved to Jacksonville in 1978 with their four children, Christie, Julie, Scott, and Jeff. Throughout her life, Beth dedicated a significant amount of time and energy to religious and spiritual activities, including leadership roles in local prayer groups and participation in missionary trips to places such as Africa and Slavokia. Beth considered her greatest accomplishments to be her walk with the Lord Jesus Christ, her role as a loving wife and mother, and her support of others - both spiritually and practically.

Beth is survived by her loving husband Ken. Also surviving are children Christine M. Mock (Frank), Juliann Duffy (Bob), Scott P. Mall, and Jeffrey J. Mall (Allison), grand children Austin M. Mall, Hunter P. Mall, Mackenzie A. Mock, Helen L. Duffy, and Robert J. Duffy III, and brothers John B. Gale (Liz) and James Gale (Cheryl).

A Funeral Mass and celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2002 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5752 Blanding Boulevard, Jacksonville FL 32210. The Mall family will receive friends at a prayer meeting on Friday, June 14, 2002 at Sacred Heart Church from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St. Vincents Pastoral Care, Tom Edwards Evangelistic Association, or Holy Spirit Missionary Association.
