Roger D. Cotton, born December 1, 1941 to Doradean Maney Cotton and Edward D. Cotton. Grew up in Sheridan, WY and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1960.
Roger was in Navy from 1960 to 1970. He married Sandra Lee Brosius and they had one daughter, Julia Rae Cotton (Marble). He later married Cheryl Payne in 2000.
Roger was able to attend his 50 Year High School Reunion in 2010 in Sheridan, a trip he cherished.
Roger passed away November 26, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Kathy last March. He is survived by his wife Cheryl (Tacoma, Washington), two sisters; Bonnie Harrington and Shannon Gleason, a daughter Julie Rae, and several grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life memorial will be held Saturday, January 14 at VFW Post 1560 at 758 Broadway in Sheridan, WY at 2:00pm and in Tacoma, WA simultaneously.
