John A. Champion, 73, of Sheridan, passed away at Sheridan Manor on Sunday, October 18, 2015.

He was born on February 4, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri.

He served in the Wyoming Army National Guard from 1963 to 1969.

John was a skilled welder and plumber for most of his working life.

He assisted his father, Mervin Champion, in his younger years at Champion Funeral Home.

For a time, John loved living in Story, WY enjoying the beautiful surroundings and all it had to offer.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Mervin and Barbara Champion.

He is survived by several relatives and dear friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3 PM on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Champion Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Champion Funeral Home.
