Kay Elaine Wolfe Pittman went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, August 18, 2010.

She was born on November 2, 1940 to Bud Wolfe and Evelyn Peggy Hollander.

In 1959 she married David Schreibeis and was blessed with three daughters, Renee Colleen, Kelly Kay and Lynnet Elaine.

In 1983 Kay married Lyle Pittman.

She was blessed with countless loved ones, family and friends. She loved all people, and all creatures.

Kay was a tireless worker for her whole life. She worked in the hospitality industry as a hotel manager, desk clerk and more. She and Lyle operated a motel and video store together before returning to Sheridan.

One of her greatest joys was operating her store "My Sister's Closet." At her store, it was not just a place to shop, because Kay welcomed everyone who came in the door and made them a friend. Shopping with Kay was an experience which made all feel like family. She had the unique ability to find ways to make everything old and used to be new and fresh.

Kay is survived by her husband Lyle, sister Patty (Bill) Klinkosh, daughters Renee (James) Moshier, Lynnet (Jim) Bede, grandsons Finn and Kavan Bede, many nieces, cousins, and loved ones.

In passing from this world she joins her parents, sister Peggy Wolfe Buss, and daughter Kelly Kay Schreibeis in their eternal home.

Service for Kay will be held on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 10:00 am at Kane Funeral Home with Reverend James Moshier officiating. A reception will follow at the Trails End Motel and Restaurant.
