Jack Anton Marosok, 65, of Denver died Dec. 24 in Denver.

He as born March 21, 1941, in Sheridan to Anton and Betty Marosok.

He was retired at the time of his death. For the past several years, he was employed with Frontier Correctional Systems as a therapist and social worker.

Jack attended Sheridan College and then graduated from Casper College in social work. Later he received his master's degree from New Mexico Highland's University. He was president of the Wyoming State Chapter of National Association of Social Workers, a licensed clinical social worker by the state of Wyoming, Addiction Therapist II - National Board Certified, Domestic Violence Therapist III, National Board Certified, Clinical Hypnotherapist - National Board Certified, Certified Hypo therapist - National Guild Certified. When in Sheridan he was a board member of the Miss Indian of America Pageant. Jack enjoyed theater, arts and music.

Jack had many friends and will be remembered for his spirituality, his kindness and loving to family and friends and most of all "others always came first".

He is survived by a sister, Betty Anne Armstrong of Cheyenne; three nephews, John Harrison of Cheyenne, Tyler Harrison of Virginia Beach, Va., and Robert Armstrong of Atlanta, Calif.; and five great-nephews and nieces, Madison and Benjamin of Cheyenne, Keaton, Christin and Allyson, all of Virginia Beach.

He was preceded in death by his father, Anton and mother, Betty.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Thursday at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 2602 Deming Blvd., in Cheyenne.
