SHERIDAN -- Memorial services for Peggy A. Buckley, 67, will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at Kane Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Jones officiating.

She died on June 12, 2008, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

She was born on April 29, 1941, in Big Timber, Mont., to Hardy and Maxine MacCatherine. She was a high school graduate of Sheridan High School in 1959.

She was self employed as a housekeeper for 11 years, worked as vet assistant for three years, and was a receptionist and secretary for 22 years until she retired in 1992.

She married Ted Buckley on Dec. 23, 1961.

She enjoyed reading, gardening, and fishing.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Shannon Hugs and Kelley Buckley; six grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren; brother, Richard MacCatherine of Roundup, Mont.; and a sister, Patricia Cowgill of Guthrie, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Ted.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made in her name to the Relay For Life.
