LEBANON - Adam Felde, 61, of Lebanon died Wednesday at Timberview Care Center in Albany.

He was born in Hardin, Mont., the son of Dave Sr. and Amelia (Schwab) Felde.  He moved to Sheridan, Wyo., in 1949 and enlisted in the Navy in 1960.  He was stationed in Japan during the early years of the Vietnam War.  He was discharged in 1964 and joined the Naval Reserve in 1965, retiring in 1992.

Mr. Felde married Wanda Lou Guilick on Nov. 4, 1962, in Oakland, Calif.  She died on April 2, 1979.

He lived in Albany from 1965 until 1983, when he moved to Lacomb.  He worked in the maintenance department at Wah Chang from 1965 until his retirement in 2000.

Mr. Felde was a member of the American Legion, the Eagles Lodge and the Elks Lodge.

He is survived by son Michael Felde of Albany; stepson Fred Felde of Albany; daughters Starla Sherfy and Terri Thorpe, both of Albany; stepdaughter Melody Meston of Albany; brothers Albert Felde of Albany, and Daniel , Robert, Dave Jr., and Walt Fisher, all of Wyoming; sisters Esther Pierce, Helen Olverturf, Maria Wassam and Leona Eckhart, all of Wyoming; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Daughter Fawnette Mack died in 1999.  Brothers Robert and Fred Felde also died earlier.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Fisher Funeral Home.  A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Friday at Fisher Funeral Home, with military honors performed by American Legion Posts 10 and 51.
