SHERIDAN - Funeral services for John Wayne Elkin, 57, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name Catholic Church with the Rev. Bruce Clapham officiating. Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. today at Kane Funeral Home.

He died Oct. 5, 1998.

He was born March 19, 1941, In Sheridan, to Wayne and t Irene O'Shaughnessy Elkln, who preceded him in death.

After graduating from Sheridan schools, he attended Carroll College In Helena, Mont., for four years

He worked In Wyoming and Montana for several years as an X-ray and lab technician. He also worked construction throughout Wyoming.

He was a member of the NRA and Holy Name Catholic Church.

He Is survived by his sister, Shirley Elkln of Lewistown, , Mont., and several cousins.
