David D. Buss, 65, of Sheridan died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, in Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Cremation has taken place, and no services are planned. Arrangements are with Kane Funeral Home.

Mr. Buss was born Dec. 7, 1940, in Sheridan to David I. and Florence (Benedict) Buss. He attended Sheridan High School, where he captained the 1959 state champion basketball team. He graduated in 1959. He attended Sheridan College and Black Hills College, where he earned his teaching degree.

His jobs included educator, businessman and salesman. He was employed at Valley Motor Honda at the time of his death.

He married Sharon Klinkosh on Aug. 19, 1962.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards, camping and discussing politics.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Daren of Riverton and Keven of Cody; a daughter, Jolene Driver of San Angelo, Texas; and six grandchildren.
