Irene Campbell, 69, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

Irene was born on September 14, 1939 in Sheridan to Edward and Anna Tetschner. She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1958.

Irene was a cook for School District #2 for twenty-six years.

She enjoyed knitting and reading and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Melva Jean Schuman.

She is survived by daughter, Sherry Lotze, of Seattle, WA; son, Don Campbell, of Kentucky; three grandchildren, Chandler Farris, Ethan Thomas, and John Klier; sister, Lory Loucks, and her husband, Duane, of Sheridan; brother-in-law, Don Schuman, of Sheridan; nieces, Michelle Jones, of Sheridan, Tina Jared, of Seattle, WA, and Becky Loucks-Shultz of Denver, CO; and nephews, Paul Slayter, of Newcastle, WY and Tim Loucks, of Seattle, WA.

Graveside services will be held in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery on Friday, February 6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Darrell White officiating. Kane Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made in Irene’s name to the Sheridan Wesleyan Church Building Fund, 404 W. Brundage Ln., Sheridan, WY 82801.
