SHERIDAN -- Memorial services for E.W. "Breezy" Morris II, 66, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Doolin officiating.

He died Aug. 3, 2006, in Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 30, 1940, in Sheridan, to E.W. and Carolyn Emily Morris.

He grew up and attended Sheridan schools and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1958. Immediately after high school, he joined the U.S. Navy and served for four years.

After his discharge from the Navy, he returned to the Sheridan area, where he became a mechanic, logger and truck driver.

He made his home in Story for the past 30 years.

He spent a number of years doing volunteer work at Camp Bethel.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include a son, E.W. "Stormy" Morris III of Durango, Colo.; one daughter, Tanya Jackson of Jenks, Okla.; two sisters, Justine Hart of Sheridan and Lorelei Morris of Green River and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Memorials may be made in his name to Camp Bethel, in care of Tara Keep, First Federal Savings Bank, 46 W. Brundage St., Sheridan, 82801.

Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
