SHERIDAN -- Memorial services for Ranchester resident Sue Landis Meyer, 65, will he held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28, 2006, at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Doug Melius officiating.

She died Aug. 24, 2006, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

She was born Oct. 23, 1940, in Sheridan to Walter "Judge" and Clella (Lathen) Landis.

She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1958.

She worked as a waitress at Eaton's Ranch during her high school years and for a short time after graduation.

Later, she worked for Frontier Airlines as a flight attendant.

She married Jerry Meyer in Sheridan on May 12, 1984.

In later years, she worked three afternoons a week at King's Western Museum and enjoyed her job and the people. She loved her horses and dogs and was a fun person who was loved by her family and numerous friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Jonalee Watkins and her husband, Todd, of Bristol, Ind.; two aunts, Pat Thompson-Woodworth of Illinois and Betty McLuen of Washington and numerous friends throughout Wyoming and Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made in her name to Hospice of the Big Horns, in care of Tara Keep, First Federal Savings Bank, P.O. Box 6007, Sheridan, 82801.
