SHERIDAN - Private family memorial services will be held for Sheridan resident Jacob Anton Heil, 62, who died Aug. 9, 2003, at the family home.

Cremation has taken place, under the direction of Kane Funeral Home of Sheridan.

He was born Sept, 19, 1940, in Eagle Butte, S.D., the son of Nicholas and Johanna (Zacher) Heil.

A member of the Moose, Eagles and Elks clubs in Sheridan, he enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his son, Steve Heil, and his wife of Sheridan; daughter, Sharon Strong, and her husband of Phoenix; three grandchildren; sister, Dee Bordeaux, and her husband of Sheridan; brother, Bob Heil of Billings, Mont.; a niece; and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
