Mary Bylund Taliaferro was born in Sheridan, Wyoming April 23rd, 1940, and was received by the Lord on February 1st, 2009, at the age of 68.

Mary, a loving daughter, sister, spouse, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend lived in Green River and Rock Springs, Wyoming from 1961 to 1986. She then moved to and lived in Scottsdale, Arizona until 2006. At that time, after 44 years in the nursing profession, Mary retired and moved to Castle Rock, Colorado in close proximity to her family. Mary’s passion was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Her parents (Gothard and Evelyn Bylund), and three sisters (Jeanne Grey, Jenny Rollins, and Donna Rawlings) preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sister (Evelyn Griesser), four children (Edward Taliaferro, Sarah Tedesco, Laura Pearson, and Debra Barton), eleven grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson funeral home. A viewing and visitation on Friday, February 13th , 4:00 to 7:00 pm, and the celebration of Mary’s life on Saturday, February 14th, 1:00 pm, will be held at the Episcopal Church in Castle Rock, Colorado. A reception will immediately follow.

Memorial donations may be made in Mary’s name, for the benefit of her favorite charity, at Castle Rock Bank, 501 Wilcox, Castle Rock, CO 80104.
