Ed LIVINGSTON 1939 - 2006 SHS 1957

Based on his personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, Ed Livingston passed from this lifelong earthly home in Sheridan, Wyoming, to his Heavenly home with God on July 16, 2006.

Ed was born on April 30, 1939, in Sheridan, Wyoming to Amil and Lorraine (Browne) Livingston. He was a lifelong resident of Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School and Sheridan College. He also attended the University of Wyoming and Moody Bible Institute.

Ed married Nancy J. Ralston in Sheridan on September 30, 1972, and the couple made their home in Sheridan raising their children here.

During his working years, Ed operated E.K. Williams Accounting and worked in the family-owned businesses operating a salvage yard, working in automobile sales, and Gasamat. He now was the sales representative for the National Association of the Self-Employed.

Ed was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Sheridan, and at the time of his death, he was serving as an elder in the church, and he was a member of the Wyoming Republican Party. He was also a former member of the Jaycees, the All-American Indian Days, and a past Sheridan County School District 2 Board Member.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, and opera music, but his greatest joy was furthering the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus by his life and acts of service to and for the community.

Mr. Livingston was preceded in death by his mother Lorraine Livingston.

He is survived by his wife Nancy of Sheridan; son Jamie and wife Cindy of Sheridan; two daughters, Ruthie Andrews and husband Lou of Saint Louis, Missouri, and Rachel Borgialli and husband Dave of Sheridan; father Amil Livingston of Sheridan; brother Jack Livingston and wife Karen of Sheridan; two sisters, Hazel Richards and husband Gary, and Louise Knievel and husband Don, all of Sheridan; five step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with Gary Kopsa officiating. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on August 3rd from First Baptist Church.
