Stewart G. KIMBLE 1939 - 2007 SHS 1957

Stewart G. Kimble passed away at his home, in Harbor City, CA. Friday June 29th. His wife of 46 years, Billie was with him. He was a well respected engineer, a loved father and grandpa, and a dutiful husband.

On May 1st 1939 he was the first of seven children born to George and Leola Kimble in Sheridan, WY. Stew graduated from Sheridan High School in 1957 and from the University of Wyoming in 1962. In between there, he married Billie Louise Graham, had a son Max and then moved to California. A few years later, son Barry joined the family.

“Stew-Baby” as we loved to call him, worked in the Aerospace industry for 37 years as an Electrical Engineer designing power control systems for satellites. After retiring he took up arc-welding, and acrylic and oil painting, demonstrating a hidden artistic talent unknown to us all for 55 years.

He and Billie spent many of his retirement years in Sheridan at the old family home.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Leola, and survived by his wife Billie, sons Max and Barry, and grandchildren, Callah, Lauren, Joel, Annika and Jackson. He is also survived by one brother Tommy and five sisters. Jean, Beth, Ann, Laura and Mary Jo.
