Beverly Dee Nelson, 77, died Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming.

Beverly Nelson was born Thursday, November 10, 1938 in Sheridan, Wyoming the daughter of George and Irene (Knudson) Hunnell. She was raised and educated in Sheridan and graduated from the Sheridan High School.

She attended and graduated from the University of Wyoming with a teaching degree. She lived the majority of her adult life in Wyoming. She enjoyed crocheting and studying Wyoming history.

She is survived by her children, Gisele (John) McCarthy of Hawkinsville, Georgia, Murray Nelson of Arlington, Texas, Thomas Nelson of Douglas, and Teresa (Patrick) Mohr of Douglas; sister, Barbara Holdemon of Gillette, Wyoming; eleven grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, George Hunnell.

A memorial to the Alzheimer's Association – Wyoming Chapter, 2232 Dell Range Boulevard, Suite 220, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82009 would be appreciated by the family.
