Peggy Ann Moen, 75, of Port Orchard, WA, passed away surrounded by family on March 30, 2013 after a courageous battle against a brain tumor.

Peggy was born on January 8, 1938 in Las Animas, CO to Edward Homer and Anna (Bromley) Busch. She graduated from Sheridan High School in Sheridan, Wyoming.

On February 8, 1957, she married James Vernon Moen in Camp Union, WA.

Peggy worked for 26 years in food service for the Central Kitsap School District.

She enjoyed spending time with family, bowling, sewing, playing cards, reading, going to the casino, shopping, cooking, and baking.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Her memory will live on with daughters Nancy Jones of Port Orchard, WA and Sherie Mayfield (Brad) of Port Orchard, WA; brother, Robert Busch (Patricia) of Denver, CO; grandchildren Janice Camm (Craig), Jesse Jones, Tyler Mayfield (Shaina), Joshua Knight, Brandon Mayfield and Brittany Mayfield; and great-grandchildren Trevor, Troy, and Trinity Camm, and Mason and Chanel Mayfield.

Public visitation will be held at Lewis Funeral Chapel on April 17th and 18th from 10am-5pm and on Friday, April 19th from 12pm-1pm with funeral service to follow at 1:00pm. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
