SHERIDAN - Memorial services for Dayton resident Peter Donston, 66, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, Oct. 8, at Champion-Ferries Funeral Home in Sheridan by Pastor Bob Miller.

He died Oct. 4, 2003, in Deaconess Hospital in Billings, Mont.

Born Aug. 7, 1937, in Waterbury, Conn., the son of Earl and Mary (Buckingham) Donston; and moved with the family to Sheridan when he was young.

He worked for Eaton's Ranch right after high school and then for Mid-Continent Oil Co. On May 25, 1968, he married Anne Davies in Dayton.

They lived in Sheridan until moving to Dayton in 1974. He worked for Metz Beverage until 1977, when he started with Mullinax Concrete, where he remained until his death.

He was a member of Big Horn Mountain Eagles Lodge and enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles; gardening, especially tomatoes; and visiting with friends.

Survivors include two sons, Alden Donston of Gillette and Kenneth Donston of Dayton; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1987; daughter, Nancy; sister, Ann Rawlings; and two brothers, Alan and Alden.
