Beverly Ann CHIESLAR Kane 1936 - 2017 SHS 1955

Beverly Ann (Chieslar) Kane, 80, of Sheridan, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at her home.

She was born November 24, 1936 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Androw and Anna (Marosok) Chieslar.

Bev married Philip "Jim" Kane on September 10, 1958.

She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, Sheridan Country Club, Powder Horn Country Club, and Bridge Club. She was a squad mother for the Girl Scouts, served on the Altar and Rosary, for Holy Name Catholic Church, and sponsored the Champion's softball team.

She enjoyed golfing, bridge, traveling, skiing, shopping, boating, watching Sheridan football games, baseball games, basketball games, and spending time with family and friends.

Bev was a domestic Goddess and helped fill in part time at Champion's when her husband, Jim owned the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim in 2008, her parents, brother, Jack Chieslar, and sister, Mary Lou Sare.

Bev is survived by her children, Randy Thomas Kane, John Andrew Kane, Philip "PJ" Kane, and Julie Anne Kane; grandchildren, JR Kane and Dylan Mathew Kane Dowling; and her brother, Gene Chieslar.

A visitation for close friends and family will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Champion Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2017 at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Glenn Whewell officiating. Interment will follow in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
