Sheridan native Raymond Keith Tibbets, 73, of Casper died Monday, July 20, 2009, at his residence.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services were Friday at First Christian Church in Casper with burial in Highland Park Cemetery there.

Born Sept. 29, 1935, in Sheridan to Virgil Ray Tibbets and Edna (Barnes) Landreth, he graduated from Sheridan High School and married Verna Sobotka of Sheridan.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon; and a grandson.

Survivors include his wife; one brother, Don Tibbets; one sister, Linda Grinder; two daughters, Julie Black and Dawn Stanfield; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may benefit a charity of the donor’s choice.
