Elizabeth Rose Reimers, 66, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002, at her Sheridan home.

Visitation is 9 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Graveside services are 11 a.m. Monday at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery, George Tellez officiating.

Mrs. Reimers was born Dec. 2, 1935, in Sheridan to Ralph Whitaker and Dorothy Elizabeth (Sickler) Jacobs. She grew up at Leiter, attended the Cadiz and Hill schools and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1953.

She married Gene L. Reimers Feb. 13, 1958, in Sheridan.

She was a bookkeeper for Riley Motor Co., Sheridan County Clerk's Office, and Sheridan Motor Inc. She also worked at Boyd's Supermarket and J.C. Penney Co. Inc.

She belonged to Job's Daughters in high school and First Christian Church, Sheridan. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and also enjoyed horses, camping and reading.

A brother, a grandson, a nephew and a niece preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Clinton J. and Jerry R. Reimers, both of Sheridan, and Donald J. Reimers, Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Leslie J. Carter, Sheridan; two sisters, Joan I. Jacobs and Beverly J. Rhodes, both of Sheridan; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
