SHERIDAN -- Graveside service for Richard Alvin Henriksen, 73, will be 11 a.m. today, July 2, 2008, in the Elk's Section of Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with the Rev. Phil Wold officiating.

He died on June 27, 2008, at the Sheridan V. A. Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 20, 1935, in Sheridan, to Victor and Mabel (Paulson) Henriksen. He grew up and attended Sheridan schools and graduated from Sheridan High School.

He was a radio technician in communications.

He served in the U. S. Air Force from October 19, 1953 to July 13,1957.

He is survived by one aunt, Joyce Smith, of Bonneville, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
