Harvey N. FRYBERGER 1935 - 2019 SHS 1953

Harvey N. Fryberger, 83, of Sheridan, passed away on September 8, 2019.

He was born on September 12, 1935, to parents Harvey D. and Edith H. Fryberger of Sheridan, where he was raised and attended school until he left for college. He graduated college at CSU Ft Collins where he met Marilyn Maude Thomas. They were married in Arizona on September 20, 1958.

In 1958 he enlisted and served in the US Army for 2 ½ years before he returned to Sheridan to the ranch. He ranched for 5 years but kept his hand in the cattle business for the rest of his life. He was a hard worker in his career of agricultural seeds as a salesman in WY, NE, CO, KS, and ID.

He was active in his community and served others through his church and the Rotary Club of which he was also president for a time. Upon retirement, they moved to Green Valley, AZ where Harvey loved the desert. They were very active at Amado Baptist church where Harvey also served as an elder.

Harvey was very personable. He loved to make people laugh, and always had a rhyme for every occasion or word and used them to brighten up everyone’s day. He was faithful in all of his actions to God, his wife, his family, and friends.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents and sister and brother-in-law, Robert & Nancy Prusak.

He is survived by his 4 children Carol (Rich) Myers, Lois Sue(Ron) Martin, David(Charissa) Fryberger, Harvey Steve(Katie) Fryberger, 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and his nephew Robert (Jodene) Prusak.

A Memorial service will be held at 2 pm, September 12, 2019, at St Peter's Episcopal Church on Harvey's 84th birthday.
