Graveside Services for Tom Donahue, beloved husband, father, granddad, brother, uncle and friend, will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m., November 24th , Sunset Memorial Gardens, Missoula. Family Pastor Ed Vainio, of Christian Life Center, will officiate and special music will feature Judy Owings.

Tom was born December 9, 1935 in Sheridan, Wyoming, son of Hershall and Evelyn Currie Donahue. After graduation from Sheridan High School Tom studied Civil Engineering at Colorado State University and graduated from Colorado School of Mines in Geophysical Engineering.

Tom married Nancy Dixon in 1960. They were blessed with 3 children: Suzanne, John and James.

After working with the Wyoming State Highway Department, Tom began his lifelong career as an Engineer with the U.S. Forest Service and retired from the Regional Office in 2001.

Since a young man Tom held a great faith in his Savior Jesus Christ and a belief in his eternal life that will go on for all time.

Tom greatly loved his children and grandchildren.

Golf was a special passion.

Those who knew Tom will not forget him – he was soft spoken and kind. Tom taught many great lessons in life with few words and by example. Because of his practical wisdom, people listened carefully when he spoke. Many will remember the twinkle in his eye when he smiled. He will always be loved, treasured and missed. Tom had a peaceful homecoming. “Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23:6
