Former Greybull dentist, Frederick P. Booth, 75, died peacefully in his sleep Sept. 20, at his home in Lenexa, Kan.

He was born Sept. 17, 1934, in Sheridan, the son of Dr. Louis and Virginia Booth. He married Nancy Hubbard in 1956 in Laramie.

Fred graduated from the University of Wyoming and from Creighton School of Dentistry in Omaha, Neb. He practiced dentistry in Greybull for 25 years. The family moved to Lenexa in 1986.

Fred was an avid hunter, fisherman and a sports fanatic. He coached the Greybull Little League team to a state championship and was an avid sponsor and supporter of the Greybull High School and sports teams. He loved sharing his sports and hunting stories with friends.

He spent much of his time supporting the Greybull Chamber of Commerce and its activities.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Booth Joy.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Hubbard Booth of Lenexa; two sons, Dr. Randy Booth of Nevada, Mo., and Frederick “Rick” Booth of St. Charles, Mo.; one brother, Michael Booth of Missouri; his sister, Virginia Booth Core of Greybull, and eight grandchildren.
