Betty B. Moffat, 80, lifetime resident of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at her residence with family by her side.

She was born on June 10, 1934 in Sheridan, WY to Homer and Bertine Gladys (Burns) Watson.

She married Robert G. Moffat on May 26, 1962 and they were happily married for 34 years.

Betty devoted nearly 40 years of service to Oswald's Jewelers in Sheridan.

Betty was a member of First Presbyterian Church and active in the Presbyterian Women's group. She also was a member of Akcita Win. She enjoyed spending time at the Sheridan Senior Center and YMCA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; brother, Lowell Hainline; and niece, Kathryn I. Watson.

She is survived by her twin brother, Bill (Ruth) Watson of Sheridan, WY; niece, Lynda "Kelly"(Mario) Bezzina of Denver, CO, nephew, Charles (Dara) Watson of Sheridan, WY, niece, Christine (Scott) Thorne of Bar Nunn, WY, and nephew, Ron Hainline of WA; and great nephews and great nieces, Michael Bezzina, Nathaniel Watson, Alexander Watson, Evelina Watson, Madeline Thorne, Kathryn Thorne, and Sydney Thorne.

A Committal Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2015 in the Sheridan Elks Memorial Cemetery. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Doug Melius officiating.
