Tribute: The family of Gerald Richard Lamb sadly announces his death. Mr. Lamb died peacefully at home with his wife of three decades, Connie Kay (Duke) Lamb and his granddaughter Katie Kay Lamb.

Mr. Lamb was born in Gillette, Wyo. He graduated from high school in Sheridan, Wyo., in 1952, and then served in Korea as a Military Policeman in 1952-1953. He then attended the University of Wyoming School of Engineering for several years before beginning work in the construction and sales industries. After spending several years in Seattle working for Boeing Aircraft Co., Mr. Lamb moved to Colorado in 1970 to be close to his three children. He lived in Greeley until 1986, when he and his second wife, Connie, moved to Denver.

Mr. Lamb was known for his warm and humorous personality, his recitations of Rudyard Kipling poems and for being a proud son of Wyoming.

Survivors: His wife, Connie Kay Lamb; two children, Elizabeth Lamb Kearney and her family of Berthoud and Gerald Randall Lamb of Loveland and his family; numerous grandchildren in Colorado, Texas and Oklahoma; and siblings in Wyoming, California and Washington.

Preceded in death by: A son, William Gregory Lamb, and a brother, Kenneth Lamb.
