Norma C. Legerski, age 73, of Sheridan, WY died Friday, February 8, 2008, at her daughter’s home in Newcastle, WY.

Norma was born May 27, 1934, in Oakland, CA to Rusty and Juanita Dunn. Norma came to Sheridan in 1947 and later graduated from Sheridan High School.

During her life, she worked on ranches, for State Farm Insurance and Sheridan Meat Company.

She married Roman Legerski, Sr. on January 5, 1976, in Sheridan. They moved to Monarch in 1982 and operated Legerski Processing until her retirement.

She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, working in her yard and just being outdoors.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Norma is survived by her sons Roman Legerski, Jr. (Margaret)of Sheridan, Tony Farella (Laurie) of Newcastle, Ty Farella (Lonnie) of Newcastle; daughters Carol Rossman (Randy) of Newcastle, Tammy Anthony (Tom) of Sheridan and Lori Zowada (Merlin) of Sheridan; sister Barbara Simon; nineteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 2:00pm on Tuesday (Feb. 12th) in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery, Elks Section with the Rev. Douglas Goodwin officiating. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
