STORY -- Graveside services for Clarence Donivan Rice, 73, will be held Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, at 10 a.m. at Kearney Cemetery in Story with Paddy Bard officiating.

He died Aug. 26, 2006, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.

He was born to Clarence and Edna Mae O’Daniels Rice on Sept. 22, 1932 in Gillette. He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1951.

He married Betty Weaver on June 8, 1952. They had two sons, Kelly & Kim and one daughter, Kyle.

He was a rancher all of his life, enjoyed rodeo and was an avid roper.

He was a member of the Elks Club and was on the Campbell County Predator Board. He was a member of the United States Team Roping Cowboy’s Association, Montana Team Roping Association, Wyoming Team Roping Association, American Cowboy’s Team Roping Association and a past member of the P.R.C.A.

Survivors include his wife, two sons; Kelly Rice and his wife of Buffalo and Kim Rice and his wife of Clearmont; one daughter; Kyle Bell and her husband of Gillette; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Memorials can be made in his memory to the Wyoming High School Rodeo Association, in care of the Adams Funeral Home, 351 North Adams, Buffalo, 82834.
