Charles James “Jim” SEPAL 1932 - 2007 SHS 1950

Charles James "Jim" Sepal Age 75, of Puyallup, WA, passed away on June 1, 2007.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Gloria, his sons Mike (Mary) and Brian, and grandson Jordan.

Jim was born in Sheridan, Wyoming on May 7, 1932. He attended Franklin High School (Seattle) and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1950.

He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Navy from 1951 to 1955. He was awarded the China and Korean Service Medals, United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Medal while serving on the USS Pictor.

Jim retired from the United States Postal Service in 1990 after 34 years of service, most spent as a Window Clerk.

He was a member of Holy Disciples Catholic Church in Puyallup.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Curnow Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1410 Main St., Sumner, 253-863-2800. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Holy Disciples Catholic Church, 187th St. E. & Meridian St. E., Puyallup, followed by interment at Gethsemane Cemetery.
