George William Bill' KISH 1932 - 1998 SHS 1950

SHERIDAN - Services for George William "Bill" Kish, 66, will be at 2 p.m. today at Ferries Funeral Home by Mack Bischoff. Interment will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery, with military honors accorded by the Wyoming National Guard.

He died June 13, 1998, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

He was born Feb. 24, 1932, In Sheridan, the son of Joseph and Camilla (Clifford) Kish. He was raised in Sheridan and graduated from high school there. He served in the US. Navy for several years. After the service, he returned to Sheridan, working at Stop & Shop Grocery until he went to work at Safeway. He worked there many years until he retired.

He was a member of the Sheridan Archery Club and the Rocky Mountain Bird Association. He loved his birds and was a nationally known canary breeder. He was a knowledgeable gardener and enjoyed tending his plants and trees.

Survivors include his niece, Lori Trujillo, two great-nieces and a great-nephew, all of Sheridan.
