SHERIDAN -Services for Peggy Janet Doyle, 63, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Champion Funeral Home by Verne A. Robinson. Cremation will follow the service.

Mrs. Doyle died Nov. 2, 1995, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

She was born May 6, 1932, at Pomona, Calif., to Chris Jacob and Margaret I. (Garson) Jacobson.

On Nov. 25, 1950, she married Duane Perry Doyle in Sheridan.

She spent her early years in California before moving to Wyoming where she attended schools in Sheridan. After graduating from Sheridan High School, she worked as a substitute teacher for many years in the Sheridan school system while completing an associate's degree at Sheridan College in 1969. While there, she was elected to Phi Theta Kappa Honorary Sorority. She completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Wyoming in 1985. Mrs. Doyle taught at Taylor Elementary School for several yeas and then taught at Story Elementary School for five and a half years. She retired in 1994.

Mrs. Doyle was an accomplished artist. She enjoyed plants, music, art, nature, bowling, and people. She was active in various community organizations and loved reading.
