SHERIDAN -- Services for David B. Gillis, 49, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Champion Funeral Home in Sheridan. The Rev. Don Beal of First Christian Church will officiate with burial In the Sheridan Cemetery.

Mr. Gillis died April 20 at the Sheridan County Memorial Hospital.

Born on Sept. 10, 1931 at Sheridan, Mr. Gillis had been employed by Wyoming Machinery as a diesel mechanic.

He married Dixie Dyll on Oct. 27, 1952 at Buffalo.

Mr. Gillis served In the Korean Conflict.

Besides his wife, Dixie of Ranchester, he is survived by three children, Kellle Troutt, Kip Gillis and Kim Gillis of Sheridan; his mother, Mrs. Alberta Gillis of Sheridan; and two grandchildren.

Memorials to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
