Beverly Jane Kimble, 76, of Buffalo died suddenly Jan.17, 2009 after a brief illness. Beverly and her husband David Kimble were visiting family in Raleigh, NC.

Beverly was born in Sheridan, WY on March 13, 1932. She grew up in Sheridan and graduated Sheridan High School in 1950. She attended Carroll College earning an RN degree in 1953.

She and Dave were married on October 2, 1953 in Sheridan. Bev lived with her husband in many states and countries during his Air Force career and finally settled in Buffalo in 1990.

Beverly loved her family and her Lord Jesus Christ. She was passionate for teaching God’s Word to children through Child Evangelism Fellowship, and adults through Precept studies and women’s ministries with her church.

She spent most of her life as a homemaker being a helpmate to David and mother to her children.

God blessed her with many gifts and talents and a wonderful creative flair that she used for serving Him and others. She was a published author, an award winning artist, an avid quilter and knitter with a missions focus.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling, fishing and hiking.

She was a friend and mentor to many people.

Beverly is survived by her husband David Kimble of Buffalo, her children Kay Bost and husband Archie of Raleigh, NC, Karen Rafferty and husband Butch of Vista, CA and her son Kevin Kimble of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Matthew Bost and wife Zoe of Raleigh, NC, Alisa Jensen and husband Matt of Apex, NC, Danielle Falvey and husband Tim of Oceanside, CA, Nicole and Sean Rafferty of Vista, CA and Caleb Kimble of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by a great grandson, Gabriel Jensen of Apex, NC.
