Arlene Ida ALGER Bishop 1932 – 1998 SHS 1950

FALLON -- Arlene Ida Alger Bishop, 66, died Oct. 30, 1998, at Churchill Community Hospital.

A native of Spotted Horse, Wyo., she was born March 8, 1932, to Drew and Anna Auld Alger and had lived in Fallon since 1967, coming from Las Vegas.

Mrs. Bishop was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Fallon 1st Ward. She attended Brigham Young University, Provo.

Surviving are husband, David; daughter, Anna Williams; son, Lynn, all of Fallon; sons, Dean of Sandy, Utah, Roy of Glcndora, Calif., and Glen of St. George, Utah; daughters, Paula Hutchinson and Darlene Brimhall, both of South Jordan, Utah; sister, Evie Bulkley of Salt Lake City; brother, Milton Alger of Wisconsin; 31 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled from 1 1 :30 a.m. until the 1 p.m. Monday funeral, at the LDS church, with burial at the Fallon Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Smith Family Funeral Home.
