Simon Charles MULLER Jr 1932 - 2018 SHS 1949

Simon Charles Muller, Jr. passed away November 12, 2018 in Stewart, Florida at the age of 86.

He was born in Sheridan, Wyoming on May 26, 1932 to Simon and Gwen (Williams) Muller and grew up in Decker, Montana on the family ranch. After graduating from Sheridan High School in 1949, he started a career in construction and parts management.

It was in Sheridan that he married the love of his life, Billie Truitt, and they resided in Sheridan until 1969. At that time, Simon began managing equipment exchange for Caterpillar and other firms in both California and Alaska before starting his own construction firm. They lived in Wasilla, Alaska for many years until their recent move to Florida.

He will be remembered for his love of family and his great sense of humor. Be it riding a rough horse, piloting his own plane, or his new adventure in Florida -- driving around in his convertible, Simon was always ready for an adventure.

He is survived by his wife, Billie, of Palm City, Florida; his sons, Bruce (Brenda) Muller of Wasilla, Alaska; and Mike (Patty) Muller of Nampa, Idaho; his daughter Cindy (Jeff) Muller-McMurtry of Palm City, Florida; his sister, Kathy Muller Ogle (Philip) of Cheyenne, Wyoming; sister-in-law, Joyce Muller of Sheridan, Wyoming; grandchildren Simon (Kerry) Muller III; Jacob Muller; Chris (Shelby) Muller; Melissa (Rick) Bjorhus; Amanda (Ken) Houston; Cliff Price; and Aubrey Muller, along with numerous great grandchildren and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Richard E. Muller and a grandson, Jeffrey Muller.

Interment will be next summer at the family ranch.
