Belva J. MEINZER Campbell 1931 - 2014 SHS 1949

Belva J. Campbell, 82, a long time Sheridan, WY resident, died Friday, May 2, 2014, in Highgate Senior Living, Billings, MT.

Belva was born July 22, 1931, in Lost Springs, WY to Arthur & Schrelda (Pennington) Meinzer. Belva grew up and graduated from high school in Sheridan. She married Raymond D. Campbell on June 13, 1954 in the First United Methodist Church, Sheridan.

She worked for the First National Bank and retired after over 20 years of employment.

Belva held many leadership roles at the Methodist Church. She enjoyed delivering Meals-on-Wheels for the Sheridan Senior Center. She and her family enjoyed many years as members of the Sheridan YMCA. Belva was a Cub Scout Den Mother during her sons scouting years. Belva's favorite time was Family time.

She also enjoyed sewing, crafting, fishing, camping and bookkeeping. She absolutely adored her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and loved spending time with them, doing whatever they wanted to do. She also loved her time with her nieces and nephews.

Belva was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Raymond Campbell; brother William Meinzer; son Douglas Campbell; granddaughter Stephanie Burr-Rompf.

Belva is survived by her son Gary W. Campbell (Cindy) of Billings, MT; sister Verla Donahue (Bud) of Eureka, MT, Norma Goodman (Bill) of Sheridan, WY; two grandchildren Ronni Okraski (Kurt), Justin (Sarah) Campbell; three great grandchildren Sara Mickelson Stolz, Cole Okraski, Skylar Campbell; one great great grandchild Ryder Stolz and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10:00am on Thursday (May 8th) at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Don Derryberry officiating. Interment will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery, Elk Section. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home, Sheridan, WY.

Memorial may benefit the First United Methodist Church, Sheridan.
