Patricia A. Bacon, 77, of Sheridan died June 25, 2008, at Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Cremation has taken place, and per her request, no services are scheduled. Kane Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

She was born Dec. 27, 1930, in Sheridan to William and Maytie Hughes. She graduated from Sheridan High School.

She married Lorne "Porky" Bacon in Sheridan.

She enjoyed painting, crafts, and cooking.

She is survived by her son Scott Affeldt of Camarillo, Calif.; brother Eugene Hughes of Albuquerque, N.M.; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her son Robert Affeldt, her daughter Vicki Jean Hall, her brother William "Bill" Hughes, and her sister Katherine Owens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her name to the American Heart Association, 710 2nd Ave., Suite 900, Seattle, WA 98104.
