SHERIDAN - Graveside services for Howard Hale Hart, 66, will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery, Masonic section, with the officers of Mason Lodge No. 8 officiating.

Mr. Hart died Dec. 20, 1997, in Eisenhower Hospital in Rancho Mirage, Calif.

He was born in Cheyenne on April 27, 1931, the son of Howard II. and Mary L. (Kelly) Hart, Sr. He came to Sheridan as a young boy and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1949.

He married Patricia Jean Simmons on Sept. 11, 1955, in Buffalo and they later moved to California. He was an engineer for General Dynamics in Pomona, Calif., for 26 years. They returned to Sheridan in 1995.

He was active in Masonic Lodge No. 8 AF & AM in Sheridan and the Elks Lodge in California.

Survivors include his wife of Sheridan and Desert Hot Springs; two sons, Thomas J. Hart of Boulder, Colo., and Stephen K. Hart of Orange, Calif.; two daughters, Lauri A. Hart of Menlo, Calif., and Tcri L. Hart of San Francisco, and four grandchildren.

Memorials may benefit the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in care of Delphine Toner, First Interstate Bank, P.O. Box 2007, Sheridan 82801.

Ferries Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
