Sheridan native Keith Foster, 71, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at his
home in Port Orchard, Wash., of cancer. Funeral services will be Wednesday
at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Bremerton, Wash. Mr. Foster was born Feb. 19,
1932, in Sheridan to John and Grace Foster. He was a 1949 graduate of Sheridan
High School and served in the Air Force Air Police Squadron from 1951 to
1955. He married Dixie Walker Aug. 19, 1956. She died in 1987. Mr. Foster
was a 1960 graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Okla., and
a 1965 graduate of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was minister
at Evergreen Baptist Church of Port Orchard from 1987 to 2002. He married
Rosemary Hamilton Jan. 15,1988. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, painting and
gardening. Survivors include his wife; five children, Shay Foster of Anchorage,
Alaska, Rowley Shaw of Issaquah, Wash., Roy Shaw of Medford, Ore., Sherri
Williams of Arlington, Wash., and Rosanna Miller of Castle Rock, Colo.;
a brother, Ralph of Clearmont; three sisters, Veran Schonenbach, Helen
Harbel and Lu Reeves, all of Sheridan; and six grandchildren.
