Elsie Josephine Germann, 87, of Sheridan, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 at Westview Health Care Center.

She was born December 20, 1930 in Gillette, Wyoming to Andrew Albert Burr and Tessie (Garrett) Burr. She married Ronald Germann on December 7, 1957. To this union were born 2 sons, Gary and Larry to join daughter, Wanda, from a previous marriage.

Elsie and Ron worked hand in hand as owners of Ron's L.P. Gas for 17 years. They were members of the Big Horn Mountain Gun Club, Rocky Mountain Propane Association and the Elks. Elsie loved playing cards, camping in the Big Horn Mountains, fishing trips to Canada and Alaska, traveling, gardening, and dancing. She also, enjoyed looking after family and guests, being a grandmother and becoming a snowbird in Arizona, were some of her favorite moments in life.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Ron; and brothers, Cliff and Wayne Burr.

Elsie is survived by her sister, Pauline Green of Mill Sholes, IL; sons, Gary (Theresa) Germann of Gillette, WY, and Larry (Tammy) Germann of Sheridan; daughter, Wanda (Marty) Ans of Billings, MT; grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Emily, Katrina, Kevin, Kelci, Alex, Ryan, Mandaran and Steven; and sixteen great grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed by all those happy children and now adults who knew her as "Grandma G" or simply "G."

A visitation will begin at 1 p.m. and services at 2 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2018 at Champion Funeral Home with Bishop Joseph Katschke officiating. Interment to follow in the Elks Cemetery. A luncheon will be held after the interment at Champion Funeral Home.
