Leonard N. BELL 1930 - 1994 SHS 1949

Leonard N. Bell, 63 of Billings, passed away Wednesday morning, July 6, 1994, in his home.

He was born Oct. 12, 1930, in Sheridan, Wyo., the son of Fred and Eveline Bell. Leonard was raised and educated in Sheridan and following graduation, from high school, entered the service, where he served in the Air Force as an airman 1st class. Upon his discharge in 1954, he returned to the United States, where he continued his education, studying accounting in college. Leonard worked for the IRS as an agent for several years before working as a business accounting manager for local car dealerships.

On May 11, 1984, he married Sharon Pinter in Billings.

He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and playing pool.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon, of Billings; one son, Charles Bell, of Kent, Wash.; one daughter, Cynthia Stark, of Anchorage, Alaska; three stepsons, Rob Stern of Whitefish, Mont., and Bob and Rick Stern, both of Billings; three brothers, Chuck Bell and Maren Bell of Sheridan, Wyo., Bill Bell of Galveston, Texas; one sister, Virginia Knight, of Billings; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m; Saturday at Michelotti, Sawyers & Nordquist. Cremation has taken place.
