Through his life he did a variety of things, from working at his father’s service station, delivering bread, logging, and owning bowling alleys and laundromats. His biggest accomplishment was when he and his close friend built a mobile home park in Mesa, AZ.

He served in Korea in the 300th Armored Field Artillery Battalion, and received 2 bronze stars. He was honorably discharged in 1952. Right after he gotout he met and fell in love with Beverle Noel at a dude ranch. They were married in September of that year.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Beverle, daughter Debbie (Phil) Busenbark, and granddaughter Kelly, and a number of cousins.
