OBITUARIES - CASPER STAR-TRIBUNE - August 11, 2002

SHERIDAN - Funeral liturgy for Sheridan resident Lois Rena Yorio, 70, will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheridan.  Burial will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

She died Aug. 8, 2002, at her home, with her family at her side.

Born Jan. 19, 1932, in Beulah, N.D., she was the daughter of Arnold and Edna (Enyart) Anderson; attended schools in Beulah until the seventh grade; and moved to Monarch in 1944.  After a year there, she finished school in Sheridan.

On May 3, 1949, she married Albert D. "Nips" Yorio at Holy Name Church.  They raised four children.

She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Carroll.

A member of Holy Name Church, the Altar and Rosary Society and Monarch Women's Sewing Club, she served on the advisory board for Wyoming Respiratory Care.

She loved her family, friends and flowers and made sure they knew it.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Albert of Bozeman, Mont., Loren of Rapid City, S.D., and Lorena and Linda, both of Sheridan; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; four siblings, Allen Anderson of Bismarck, N.D., Merlin Sailer of Stanton, N.D., Ladonna Day of Sheridan and Sandra Kay Munn of Olympia, Wash.; and many other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; five brothers, Delton, Carl, Raymond,  Arnold Jr. and Delmond; and two sisters, Janice and Leone.
