Jacqueline "Jackie" TROUTMAN Taylor 1930 - 2002 SHS 1948

Jacqueline "Jackie" T. Taylor, 72, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, in a Portland hospital.

She was born Jan. 5, 1930, in Dayton, Wyo., and lived in the Vancouver area since 1960. Her maiden name was Troutman.

Mrs. Taylor worked for 20 years in customer service at Sears at the mall in Vancouver. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was a volunteer with FISH. She enjoyed bunco and baseball, especially the Mariners.

Her husband of 41 years, Royce, died in 2000.

Survivors include two daughters, Pam Linn of Vancouver and Patricia Sickels of Melbourne, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Jan Dollar of Verdi, Nev.; two sons, Jeff and Scott, both of Vancouver; one stepson, Dan Dollar of Billings, Mont.; two sisters, Betty Porter of Denver and Wanda Phares of Washington state; one brother, Jess Troutman of Sheridan, Wyo.; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A service will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, with burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
