Sheridan native Elaine Jean Chutich, 72, of Wilder, Idaho, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2002, of natural causes at Mercy Medical Center in Nampa, Idaho.
Services were Jan. 2 in Homedale, Idaho.
Mrs. Chutich was born to Elvin and Helen Ridley in Sheridan, where she grew up and graduated from high school in 1948.
She worked in Chicago as a registered nurse in hospital obstetric units and later at a doctor's office in Preston, Idaho. She retired to Wilder in 1992 and sold Avon products as a second career.
She was an active member of Homedale Presbyterian Church and enjoyed sewing, knitting and yard work.
Survivors include her husband, John; three sons, Douglas of Nampa, Mark
of Austin, Texas, and Jon of Logan, Utah; a daughter, Dawn, of Boise, Idaho;
a sister, Phyllis David, of Sheridan; a brother, Ron Ridley of Dallas;
seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and
cousins.
