Sheridan native Fred L. Richardson, 75, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005, at his home in Belmont, Calif.

A celebration of his life will be later, according to his family.

Mr. Richardson was born in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School. He earned a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wyoming.

He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean conflict.

He later supervised construction of power plants in the Western United States.

Survivors include his wife, Helen; a daughter, Roberta Thompson of Sheridan; a son, Fred of San Diego; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, hospice, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
