Robert Lee McEwan passed away February 6, 2013 in Colorado Springs, CO at the age of 83.

He was born on January 15, 1930 in Great Falls Montana to Leonard and Olga (Tinastich) McEwan. He graduated from Sheridan high School in 1948.

Robert served in the Navy for 5 years and then transferred to the U.S. Army where he retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 3, having served 18 years in the Army.

Robert married Joan Carol Lindamood on October 21, 1955 in Hardin, Montana.

He was a member of the Fountain Valley Baptist Church in Fountain, CO for 43 yrs.

He loved kids, especially his grandchildren and he loved to hunt and fish.

Robert is survived by his children Ronald (Pam) McEwan; Marge (Gary) McGee; Kathy McEwan; Helen (Rust) Wrinkle and Mike (Kathy) McEwan and 11 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Olga McEwan; wife Joan; and brothers Leonard, James and Lionel McEwan.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Pikes Peak Hospice 2222 N. Cascade Colorado Springs, CO.
