Lois Lorraine HIXSON Coster 1930 -1993 SHS 1948

SHERIDAN - Graveside services for Lois Lorraine Coster, 63, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery by Rev. Ted Tromble.

Mrs. Coster died Feb. 4, 1993, at her home in Sheridan of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 2, 1930, in Sheridan to Buel M. and Mary (Litteneker) Hixson. The family moved to Powell when she was two years old where she attended school and two years of high school. They then moved to Story and she completed high school in Sheridan.

On June 26, 1948, she married Edwin A. Coster at Story. They lived at Midwest for 1 1 years, then one year in Worland and in Riverton for 11 years. They had also lived in Trinidad, West Indies for four years. When her husband retired they returned to Story in 1980.

Mrs. Coster enjoyed gardening, traveling and designing homes.

Besides her husband of Story, she is survived by two daughters, Virginia K. Hippe of Wamsutter and Gale A. Borman of Cantwell, Alaska; one brother, Buel M. Hixson of Juneau, Alaska; and five granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant daughter, Colleen.

Memorials to the Story Women's Club or to the Salvation Army, in care of Delphine Toner, First Interstate Bank, Sheridan 82801, would be appreciated.
